Older is an experimental film directed by Elizabeth Jaimes. The film revolves around a girl and a cinematic portrayal of her feelings and emotions on the day of her 18th Birthday. The age 18 is met with many predispositions of people who think it may be a completely life-changing event filled with unbearable responsibility and a tragic fatality of their youth. Older encapsulates these emotions through a mix of visuals and sounds.
Meet The Cast
Elizabeth Jaimes
-Plays the role of the 18-year-old girl-

Elizabeth Jaimes played the main character as well as produced and directed the entire short film. She currently attends Cypress Bay High School and is going to pursue a career path at the University of Florida.
Jorge Jaimes
-Plays the father of the girl-

Jorge Jaimes made an appearance in this film and has a lengthy experience in the creative industry. He works as a graphic designer and marketing director and has made a living off of his creative mind.
Norma Lazcano
-Plays the mother of the girl-

Norma Lazcano has always had a passion for the arts and is an experienced graphic designer. She has worked making ads for Pepsi and even Frito-Lay. Growing up she has also had a background in performing arts and has a gift for singing.
SCREENINGS
Older is a short film and can therefore not be found in theatres. To watch Older you can buy tickets to watch it at the Sundance Film Festival. We are currently working to submit it at other local festivals so make sure to be on the lookout for those!
